SHANGHAI, Jul. 9 (SMM) – Exploration of rare earth oxides (REO) will be increased to 59,500 tonnes in Inner Mongolia in 2014, up 19% from 2013, xinhuanet. com reported today.
Such increase will help Inner Mongolia become the top one in REO exploration this year, accounting for 56.67% of China’s total of 105,000 tonnes, it added.
Rare earth reserves in Inner Mongolia account for 87% of the nation’s total.
