Foreign Minister receives Thierry Mariani
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Bold received Thierry Mariani, the Special Representative for Central Asia from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) on November 12th.
At the meeting Mariani congratulated Mongolia for joining the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe as the 57th member and exchanged opinions on the main cooperation agenda.
Foreign Minister L.Bold thanked Mariani for visiting Mongolia and expressed his willingness to cooperate giving great significance to the activities of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
Foreign Minister L.Bold emphasized the need to focus on particular issues of economy, environment and safety and to ease transit transport, develop border trade and launch several projects.
The two parties also discussed the parliamentary group in Mongolia to cooperate with the OSCE PA and exchanged views on cooperation on projects and programs.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on preparation work for the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting that will be held in the Ukraine in December.
