MPP FACTION DISCUSSES ELECTION ISSUES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The faction of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) at the State Great Khural has considered as possible to run separately the elections of the Citizens' Representative Khural of provinces, soums and of the city's districts and the parliamentary election.

This was said by O.Enkhtuvshin, the head of the MPP faction at its regular meeting on Monday. According to him, the faction reached a decision to organize the election of the Citizens' Representative Khural of the City together with parliamentary election in June.

The faction has conveyed this statement to the faction of the Democratic Party (DP). "If the minority adjourns trying to avoid accepting our proposal, the majority is to make a final decision according to the Constitution. A break canot last forever, besides, we must care about the country because the parliamentary election is approaching," O.Enkhtuvshin said. The factions must compromise, he said.

O.Enkhtuvshin added that their faction did not discuss whether or not to discharge Ts.Nyamdorj from the post of Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs.
