"TOURISM IN 21ST CENTURY" NAT'L FORUM APPROACHES

THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND TOURISM IS TO RUN A NATIONAL FORUM THEMED "TOURISM IN THE 21ST CENTURY" ON MARCH 23 IN THE GOVERNMENT HOUSE.

THE MAIN GOALS OF THE UPCOMING FORUM ARE TO DISCUSS A PRESENT SITUATION OF THE TOURISM SECTOR AND URGENT PROBLEMS, TO DETERMINE SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS AND FURTHER DIRECTIONS OF THE SECTOR, TO REFINE UPON THE LEGAL ENVIRONMENT OF TOURISM, TO CREATE A GOOD ENVIRONMENT OF MAKING INVESTMENTS, AND TO ACTIVATE THE COOPERATE IN INTENSIFYING PROPAGANDA ON TOURISM FOR FOREIGN COUNTRIES AND SUPPORTING COMPETITIVENESS.

A key report will be given by D.Tsogtbaatar, the Minister of Environment and Tourism at the forum’s opening on urgent problems faced to the tourism sector in Mongolia and further development of this sector.

Sub-meetings will take place in frames of the forum under themes “Human development-Labor market”, “Propaganda-marketing” and “Infrastructure-investment”. Reports on the related topics will be delivered as well.

Co-organized by the Ministry, the National Center of Tourism, the City’s Department of Tourism and the Tourism Association of Mongolia NGO, the forum is expected to attract some 700 representatives.
