Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At its meeting on Tuesday, the parliamentary Standing committee on justice backed a veto on the clause of 30.1 of the 30th article of the law on regulating public and private interests at the public service and preventing conflicts of interests.

This veto has been put by the President Ts.Elbegdorj. He wans to draw closer the date of validating this law--from July 15 to May 1.

July has been chosen because a good preparation is needed before a realization of this law, said D.Lundeejantsan MP and asked whether a time is available if to bring the date closer. A head of the Presidential Office D.Battulga answered that, when partially vetoing the law on February 17, the state head called authorities of the Corruption Combating Agency and of other organizations the same day and heard from them that the preparation is underway, "and that is why the President considers that May 1 is the right date to put the law into force."
