PM GIVES INTERVIEWS TO JAPAN MEDIA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In Japan with the official visit, the Prime Minister S.Batbold has given interviews to the NHK television, the Nikkei and Mainichi newspapers.


The media have asked about a rapid economic growth in Mongolia and its tendencies and biggest projects, including the Tavan tolgoi deposit project and activities on its western and eastern sides, an international open tender of this project and the PM's position over Japanese participation in the tender.

The PM said that the international open tender is running normally, the tender's matters must be tackled in respect of interests of the Mongolians, but the interests of the investors are not ingored as well, and that the TT project is expected to begin this year.

Then the visit's purpose and results were highlighted, and questions on the Korean peninsula were answered.
