PARLIAMENT APPROVES BUDGET CLARIFICATION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Wednesday, an irregular plenary meeting of the parliamentary session approved draft amendments to the laws on state budget for 2012 and on budget of social insurance fund for 2012.
It means that these laws come to force from February 1 of 2012 and that salaries of state servants and pensions have been increased. All the money will be refunded within March.
Some 161 billion togrog have been placed in the state budget, MNT 13.9 billion--in the social insurance fund, and MNT 8.8 billion--in the local budgets.
Current expense money of MNT 26.3 billion and investment expense of MNT 1.9 billion have been transferred to the budgetary package of the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs from the package of the annulled First Deputy Premier post. In addition, MNT 6.4 billion for current expense and MNT 13.9 billion for investments have been transferred to the budgetary package of the Deputy Premier.
