Mongolian Consulate General opens in Osaka

The Prime Minister has participated in the opening ceremony of the Mongolian Consulate General in Osaka, which marks 40 years of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Japan.

S.Batbold spoke at the ceremony about Japan’s rich heritage and their modern transformation to one of the biggest economic, industrial and cultural centers in Asia and the world. He also committed to improving cooperation between Japan and Mongolia in regards to the strategic partnership principle. 

The Prime Minister spoke about discussions he’d had with Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on the development of an Economic Partnership Agreement to improve trade, economy and cooperation between both countries.

The Prime Minister of Mongolia expressed his gratitude to the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Governor of the Osaka, the Governor of the county, Jetro Osaka, and other organizations which supported the opening of a Mongolian Consulate General.
