FINANCE MINISTRY ESTABLISHES MEMORANDUM WITH JBIC

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Ministry of Finance and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) have established a mutual understanding memorandum on launching a financial cooperation.

With objectives to take export loans from the JBIC and to implement projects in the mining, infrastructure and industrial sectors, the memorandum was inked on Monday by D.Khayankhyarvaa, the Finance Minister, and by Hiroshi Watanabe, the JBIC CEO and president in Tokyo, Japan.

A signing of the document means that Mongolia has left a level of a country who usually takes non-refundable aid and assistance and is becoming the one who takes mutually-beneficial soft-loan for financing the governmental biggest projects.

At a press conference held after this ceremony, D.Khayankhyarvaa and Mr. Watanabe underlined that this memorandum opened big opportunities for investors of the two countries.
