DP FACTION:" PAY RISE? WE ARE NOT GUILTY"

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At a meeting on Monday of the Democratic Party's (DP) faction, the MPs reported on works done in their constituencies.

On Tuesday, a head of the faction Ch.Saikhanbileg spoke about this and other matters they had considered.

He said it was revealed in localities that namely the DP faction has been blamed for postponing the budget for 2012 clarification, which is, in its turn, did not allow to rise salaries and pensions, "so we have to give a true information." He said that the autumn parliamentary session could have approved the 2012 budget law, but did not because parliiament adjourned rightly after Su.Batbold, a deputy head of the Mongolian People's Party's faction, took a break before considering the President's draft package law on courts. “So you can see that we are those who are not guilty of postponing the augmenting of salaries and pensions,” he underlined.

He went on that the faction also decided in principle to simultaneously discuss the budget clarification and a draft law on abolishing differences in pensions of those who retired before and after the year 1995. The draft has been submitted to parliament by D.Gankhuyag MP.
