AIMAG GOVERNOR VISITS CHINESE BAOTOU

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A delegation led by P.Gankhuyag, the governor of Dornogobi aimag, visited on March 19 a Baotou city of Chinese Inner Mongolia.

At a meeting with Baotou head Qiao Wen-hua, the talks focused on developing of the friendly collaboration between Dornogobi aimag and Baotou city, on the great construction at the Khangi-Mandal border checkpoint and its development.

Mr. Qiao Wen-hua expressed his satisfaction with a visit of Dornogobi's delegation, and said he wants to accelerate the great construction at the border checkpoint and to widen the collaboration in border trade and humanitarian sectors.

The Khangi-Mandal border checkpoint has been transferred to a permanent regime, and it positively influenced on customs services at the checkpoint and made a contribution to socio-economic development of the both countries, he said.

In turn, Mr. Gankhuyag asked Baotou city to support in infrastructure and energy issues of a new settlement near the border checkpoint and to involve the Mongolian youths in Chinese language study and in mid-career training in technological sphere.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Gankhuyag invited the Baotou city head to a trade and investment forum to run on March 26 in Sainshand, Dornogobi aimag.
