MAYOR AWARDS TICA REPRESENTATIVE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city, G.Monkhbayar has bestowed upon Rahman Nurdun, a program coordinator of Turkish International cooperation agency /TICA/ to Mongolia, the "Khangarid" order.
After this ceremony, which took place October 7, the sides focused their talk on the ways of activating Ulaanbaatar and Ankara cities cooperation, on developing the two nations' relationship.
Mr Nurdun has been working here from late 2010, and has contributed to the implementation of many measures.
TICA has realized over 40 projects and programs of 3.5 million US dollars in education, health and social spheres in Sukhbaatar and Chingeltei districts of the city and in Orkhon, Arkhangai, Ovorkhangai, Uvs, Khovd and Bayan-Olgii aimags. One of the biggest projects was an Ankara street's furnishing in Ulaanbaatar at 2.1 million US dollars.
The order has been given to him in recognition of his contribution to the UB city's development.
