GP officials demand return of party seal from D.Enkhbat

Green Party (GP) officials say they plan to send a note to MPs D.Enkhbat and S.Oyun to tell them to “stop their illegal activity.”

Green Party Chairman S.Maam, Secretary General D.Batbaatar and legal advisor O.Baasankhuu made the announcement at a press conference on Monday. They said the Green Party was founded on March 9, 1990, and has 2,100 members and 12,000 supporters.

They said the Civil Will-Green Party (CW-GP) has not been registered with the State Supreme Court, and that D.Enkhbat and S.Oyun, the two highest ranking officials in the CW-GP, have violated the rights of the GP.

The officials also said that D.Enkhbat is not a member of the GP and noted that his lack of membership in the party has been confirmed by the SSC. That is why they demanded D.Enkhbat return the party seal and certificate after receiving the note. They expressed their hope that D.Enkhbat would return the seal and certificate without legal action being necessary.
