ASIA-PACIFIC REGION'S MEETING OF SOCIALIST INT'L LAUNCHES HERE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Ulaanbaatar is hosting a meeting of Socialist International's Asia-Pacific region committee.

Initiated by the Mongolian People's party /MPP/, the gathering has been chaired by S.Bayar MP, a member of leading council of MPP. Among participants are other members of this council such as S.Batbold PM, secretary-general and secretary U.Khurelsukh and Ya.Sodbaatar, Speaker D.Demberel, and D.Lundeejantsan, D.Arvin, S.Byambatsogt, Kh.Jekei, Ts.Nyamdorj MPs and Ministers T.Gandi and T.Badamjunai.

The meeting has been attended by representatives of parties from some 20 countries, for example Australia, Greece, Italy, Japan, Sweden, East Timor, India, Pakistan, Philippine and Kazakhstan.

They are discussing the SocIntern renewal, strengthening of the cooperation, and are sharing experiences.
