Mongolia Wants Intergov’t Commission with UAE

Mongolia’s Deputy Premier M.Enkhbold said so when he met with a delegation from the United Arab Emirates in Ulaanbaatar.

The meeting is the follow-up of bilateral talks held during the recent visit by Prime Minister of Mongolia to UAE on cooperation in nuclear fuel and supply of nuclear fuel to UAE.

The UAE delegation headed by Hamad Al Ka’abi, permanent representative at IAEA, is currently in Mongolia to hand over a draft agreement on cooperation in nuclear fuel.


In order to speed up the realization of recent talks in Abu Dhabi, Deputy Premier Enkhbold suggested UAE side to set up a permanent intergovernmental commission.

On his part, Hamad Al Ka’abi pledged to convey Enkhbold’s suggestion regarding the intergovernmental commission, to competent officials in UAE. He asked the Mongolian government to take steady actions to start what agreed upon, as the two countries have a real opportunity of long-term cooperation in this field.
