D.Tsogtbaatar participated in a high level meeting
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ State secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia D.Tsogtbaatar participated in a high level meeting on Cooperation for Child Rights in the Asia - Pacific region that ran 4-6 November in Beijing, China.
The meeting, hosted by the government of People's Republic of China and UNICEF, was attended by some 150 government ministers and officials from 28 countries across the region.
They have shared views on the issues such as achieving the Millennium Development Goals, child protection during disasters, preventing the transfrontier crimes etc.
Mr D.Tsogtbaatar chaired the First Submeeting on "The role of cooperation South-South in proctecting childrens' rights in the region" and also gave a detailed speech at the 4th submeeting on the measures being taken by Mongolia's governement for achieving MDGs targets, on problems the country is facing in achieving these goals.
