Fuel prices have increased

The Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection (AFCCP) announced that the fuel price per litre is to increase by 50 MNT.

Officials say that the fuel AI -92 price increase is certain but if other fuel and diesel prices will increase or not is as yet unknown. Fuel importer companies explain that they only increase fuel prices by 50 MNT as they took soft loans from the Central Bank of Mongolia promising to keep the fuel price steady. Otherwise the fuel price would have increased by 210 MNT per litre.

Today Sod Mongol, Petrovis, Shunkhlai and Magnai Trade fuel importers put up fuel and diesel prices to 50 MNT except AI-95.

For instance А-80 costs 1530 MNT, АI-92 1620 MNT and diesel 1750 MNT.
