Cold Fronts to Chill N. China

A cold front moving eastward from Mongolia will provide rainfall and falling temperatures to north China during the next three days, the country's national observatory forecast Monday.

Light to moderate rain will fall in areas of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and some north and northeast regions in China from Monday, the National Meteorological Center said.

Temperatures in these regions will fall up to six degrees Celsius, along with strong winds, it said.

Another cold front will hit parts of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Monday and Tuesday, bringing temperature falls of up to eight degrees Celsius.

Southwestern regions can also expect moderate rainfall in the next three days. Meanwhile, the quake-hit Yiliang County in southwest China's Yunnan Province will experience small amounts of rain during the period.
