GER AREAS TO BE IMPROVED TOGETHER WITH ADB
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet Saturday supported in principle a draft of general financial agreement of the "Program on developing ger districts and supporting investments" and decided to consult it with parliament's related Standing committees.
The program aims to solve problems such as a dramatically growing migration of countryside people into the UB city and an escalating number of ger (national dwelling) districs' inhabitants. It has been supposed to be realized together with the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The latter will issue 224 mln.USD, our government--96 mln.USD to run this program for ten years in three stages.
The program has been made on a basis of several documents such as "Complex policy for national development" in frames of the Millennium Challenge Account Mongolia, action program of the government, a targeted mid-term program "New construction", general development plan for the UB city, "Street" project and others.
