GDP and inflation

Growth Domestic Product of Mongolia reached 8255.1 billion MNT at the end of last year and was increased by 25 percent if compared with the same period of the previous year.
Expansion in bulk trading, car trading, car servicing have mostly affected the GDP to rise and average annual inflation for 2010 was 10.1 percent.

Money supply and money in circulation

At the end of 2010, money supply reached 4680 billion MNT and it is an increase of 62.5 percent compared with the previous year. Total money in circulation reached 519.7 billion MNT at the end of the year and was increased by 9.9 percent in comparison to the previous month. In terms of banking, bad loans counted to 374.4 billion MNT and was decreased by 19 percent compared with last year.
