Governmental works done in August

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government Ch.Khurelbaatar gave a review of the governmental works done in August of 2010 at the cabinet meeting ran September 15.

According to him, following work have been done:

The Prime Minister S.Batbold worked in Ovorkhangai, Arkhangai, Khovsgol, Uvs, Bayan-Olgii, Khovd, Gobi-Altai, Bayankhongor, Dundgobi, Omnogobi and Dornogobi aimags to get au fait with rural life, hold meetings with people, tell about governmental policies and decisions on developing state and local socio-economics;

In accordance with a resolution, the government decided to sell reserved fuel to the companies who hold special licenses for carrying out the wholesale of oil products and to allot revenue from this sale under contract in the state budget within November 15, 2010;

A course of distributing benefits from the Human Development Fund (HDF) to people has been going with 94.6 per cent.

Keys to one-room apartments have been granted to 87 war veterans in frames of the marking of the 65th anniversary of the 1945 Liberation War.

The governmental decision has been drawn to prepare 3,300 professional workers with investments of the "Oyu tolgoi" LLC pursuant to the government's resolution on preparing professional workers. In addition, money will go to the state budget to cover a certain part of students' tuition fees to study in universities, institutes and colleges in the academic years 2010-2011.

Willing to draw the world community's attention to the climate change and desertification in Mongolia due to the global climate change, the cabinet has held its "Issue of climate change" meeting in a place named "Gashuun khooloi" in Omnogobi aimag's Bayandalai soum.
