President’s advisor meets NGO delegation
Ulaanbaatar, May 6 (MONTSAME) An advisor to the President on public relations A.Ganbaatar Tuesday received delegates of the “And khuukhduud” NGO and the Germany’s "Autismus Deutschland E.V" organization.

The delegation included Mr Yo.Bayaraa, a founder of the “And khuukhduud” NGO; and Ms Maria Kaminski, the president of the "Autismus Deutschland E.V" organization.
During the meeting, the two organizations conveyed their proposals to the President of Mongolia for holding a scientific conference and workshop about autism and asked for rendering assistance to this.
In response, Mr Ganbaatar promised to study this matter.
These two organizations work with functions of helping children with autism, providing them with conditions for studying with ordinary children, rendering medical aid and attracting attention of the state to the matter.


Vice FM receives Canadian delegation
Ulaanbaatar, May 6 (MONTSAME) The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Gankhuyag Tuesday received a delegation led by Mr Jeff Nankivell, Regional Director General of the Asia, Geographic Programs Branch at the Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD).
The sides exchanged views on a present situation of the Mongolia-Canada cooperation in the mining, economy and development, and on further opportunities.
The Vice Minister said he is satisfied with an intensive development of the bilateral partnership cooperation, and expressed a willingness to augment branches of the collaboration between the countries.
Mr Nankivell emphasized that his country is working to increase investments to Mongolia.


North Korean delegation to visit
Ulaanbaatar, May 6 (MONTSAME) Delegation of the Economic Development Committee and the Ministry of Railways of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) will pay a working visit to Mongolia on May 8-12.
The news was published Monday on website of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI).
The North Korean delegation has been invited by the Mongolia’s Ministry of Road and Transportation. During the upcoming visit, the North Korean delegation will hold a meeting and will make presentations about economic free-zone and investments of North Korea. Moreover, officials of the North Korean Ministries of railways and of foreign affairs, land and marine transportation departments, and developmental agencies for economy will give reports.


Stock exchange news for May 6
Ulaanbaatar, May 6 (MONTSAME) At the Stock Exchange trades held Tuesday, a total of 2,987 shares of 16 JSCs were traded costing MNT 10 million 080 thousand and 059.00.
"Khokh gan" /2,000 units/, "APU" /269 units/, "Gobi" /267 units/, "Material impex" /154 units/ and "State Department Store" /80 units/ were the most actively traded in terms of trading volume, in terms of trading value--"Bayangol hotel" (MNT two million and 448 thousand), "Material impex" (MNT two million 246 thousand and 970), "Gobi" (MNT one million 933 thousand and 475), "APU" (MNT 995 thousand and 300) and "Gazar suljmel" (MNT 899 thousand and 520).
The total market capitalization was set at MNT one trillion 582 billion 094 million 280 thousand and 233. The Index of Top-20 JSCs was 15,412.96, decreasing by MNT 131.72 or 0.85% against the previous day.


Theory-practice conference on accounting and audit to run
Ulaanbaatar, May 6 (MONTSAME) The Mongolian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MonICPA) and the Institute of Finance and Economics (IFE) are co-organize an international theory-practice conference themed “Accounting and audit-2014” on Wednesday.
The upcoming conference will run among teachers, researchers and scholars on economics and accounting of Mongolia, and also will attract participants from Russia and the Philippines.
The participants will deliver reports, and three of them will receive prizes under criteria for combining the present and future tendency of accounting and audit development with scientific achievements and research works, the best innovations and importance. The top reporters will be awarded diplomas and cash prizes.


“Internom” names bestselling books
Ulaanbaatar, May 6 (MONTSAME) The “Internom” bookstore Tuesday released names of bestselling books of the last week.
From April 28 to May 4, a serial book on education for children named “My summer 1” was selected as the top bestselling book. This book is designed for children to exercise during summer vacation, and has many interesting exercises for children, fairytales, notes about summer vacations, illustrated questionnaires on natural phenomena, weather, animals, plants and insects.
One of the world classics, “One Hundred Years of Solitude” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, a Colombian writer and Nobel Prize laureate, came second at the bestselling list. This book was followed by a historical roman named “Sorkhugtani” /Sorghaghtani Beki/.
