MMC qualifies for Prez Cup finals
KATHAMNDU, May 3: National champion Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) and Mongolia champion Erchim FC entered into the final rounds of the AFC President’s Cup on Saturday with a match in hand.
The two team’s entry into the final was confirmed after home team Erchim overcame Svarieng FC of Cambodia 3-1 on Saturday to inflict latter the second defeat in a row.
The group consists of three teams with top two sides making into final rounds.
MMC had defeated Svarieng FC 6-3 on Thursday in the inaugural match. Both MMC and Erchim had played one match each and the last group match to be played on Monday will determine the group winner.
