New ErdenesTavanTolgoi CEO Appointed

ErdenesTavanTolgoi CEO, B. Enebish made the decision to resign. B. Enebish, who was responsible for the state owned company that manages the most promising untapped deposit in the world, Tavantolgoi, explained that his reason for resigning is personal. He had requested to resign a few months before.

“I think I fulfilled the task put forth by the Government and got theTavantolgoi project started. As a state owned company, I believe ErdenesTavanTolgoi developed comparatively quicker, but, I do not know what people would say” said B. Enebish.

After receiving the resignation of B. Enebish, the ErdenesTavantolgoi LLC Representative Managing Council held a meeting. During the meeting the council relieved B. Enebish and appointed former MP Ya.Batsuuri to be CEO of ErdenesTavanTolgoi. Ya.Batsuuri was elected as MP in the 2008 parliament election from the DP. He graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations as a diplomat officer and obtained international relations and trade qualifications.
