STATE HEAD VISITS GASR AND GEC
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Friday, the State Head Ts.Elbegdorj visited the General Authority for State Registration (GASR) and the General Election Commission (GEC).
"In the elections, people will vote using old ID cards, new cards will be given to those who have lost the old ones, besides, we will publish the new cards before the elections, and all works are going as scheduled," a head of the GASR L.Amarsanaa said.
The President tasked the GEC with providing people with the ID cards needed "so that they can enjoy a right to vote", and said he is glad to see a new electronic system.
At the GASR, the President was told that no frauds are expected during the election because "the electorate will be indentified by their finger prints so that to cut all attempts to vote again".
