SEMINAR TO BE HELD FOR WORLD METROLOGY DAY
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Mongolia's Agency for Standardization and Metrology (ASM) will organize a meeting-seminar under slogan “We will measure your safety” on occasion of the World Metrology Day which is celebrated on May 20.
This event is expected to bring together officials and representatives of state and private sector organizations such as the Ministry of Social Welfare and Labor, the Defense Ministry, the Ministry of Health, the Specialized Inspection Agency of Ulaanbaatar city, the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), the General Customs Office, the “Gobi” and “Energy Resources” LLCs, and the “Khotol Tsement Shkhoi” company.
Presentations titled “Labor health, safety management and meteorology” and “Protection against radiation and safety for medical workers interacting with radiation” will be made by P.Tungalag, a department head of the Agency for Standardization and Metrology; and by T.Baigal, a state inspector at the NEA.
A documentary film named “Labor safety and sanitation management system of thermal power stations” will be shown as well.
