PREMIER RECEIVES HEALTH MINISTER OF CHINA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ S.Batbold PM received on Wednesday a delegation headed by Chen Zhu, the Health Minister of the People's Republic of China. He is paying an official visit to Mongolia.

The Premier underlined an importance of this visit and said the bilateral cooperation is developing in all spheres within the strategic partnership ties. He said the signed recently four-year cooperation plan between the two Ministries of Health would be another important step and thanked China's government for assisting in constructing a physical culture and sports center. "We will erect other ones, and I want China to give a help in this, and we are to cooperate in the medical sphere including preparation of professionals and the traditional medicine," he said.

In turn, Mr. Chen said he is glad to visit Mongolia and that "signing of the cooperation plan is an expression of the bilateral cooperation expansion".

Within the plan, the two countries will boost the collaboration in infectious diseases, traditional medicine, first aid medicine, medical assistance for mothers and infants and nursing.
