NAT'L WRESTLERS AND SUMOISTS TO COMPETE IN BASKETBALL
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A group of Mongolian sumo wrestlers will return home on May 21 in order to hold a friendly basketball competition against Mongolian national wrestlers.
This is an event dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Mongolia-Japan diplomatic relations and the 20th anniversary of enrollment of Mongolians in the professional sumo. Revenues from the friendly competition will go for charity.
Co-organized by the "Hakuho" foundation, the "TLG-13" and "Together for Success" NGOs and the "Mon laa" company, the upcoming competition will run between sumo wrestlers and Mongolian national wrestlers. It is expected that the sumo wrestlers will be yokozuna Hakuho M.Davaajargal, ozeki Harumafuji D.Byambadorj, ozeki Kakuryu D.Anand and Estonian wrestler ozeki Baruto, and the national wrestlers--G.Osokhbayar and S.Monkhbat, national wrestling champions, and others.
