A loan on development of public transport supports

The Standing committee on Economy and Budget supported a program on Investment of development of Ulaanbaatar city public transport. In frame work of the program the Mongolian Government will receive $220 million loan from Asian Development Bank. Additional $57 million suppose to finance the Mongolian Government.

The program consider to built 64.5 km road in the capital and to produce ecologically clean public bus. According the survey by Asian Development Bank Mongolia could produce till 50 bus per year.

During the discussion some MP such as Z.Altai and Ts.Batbayar noticed government’s foreign loan increasing while results of some loan haven’t overlooked.

MP’s concluded this program should be supported because capital city still has a problem with public transport in spite of Japanese and Korean investment have received in 1995 and 2009.
