Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In the first four months of this year, 528.5 thousand people were registered as the insured.
Some 335 thousand, or 63.4 percent of them, were from the establishments, and 193.7 thousand or 36.6 per cent from government budgetary organizations. Compared to same period of the previous year, the number of the insured increased by 62.5 thousand or 13.4 per cent: by 56.7 thousand or 20.4 percent in establishments, and by 5.8 thousand or 3.1 percent--in budgetary organizations.
Social welfare pensions and benefits were granted to 53.8 thousand people, decreasing 1.7 thousand people or 3.1 percent.
MNT 245.0 billion were distributed to 2.3 million people (at duplicated counting) through the Human Development Fund in the first four months of this year, some 2.2 million people, or 94.2 per cent, received the cash benefit of MNT 21.0 thousand each; 2.6 thousand people or 0.1 per received MNT 70.0 thousand each; and 131.5 thousand people or 5.7 per cent received MNT 10.0 thousand each.
