GENERAL ELECTION COMMITTEE REPORTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At its meeting on Thursday, the General Election Committee (GEC) discussed who will work in contituency committees for parliamentary election.


The law says that only public/state servants are allowed to work in these committees, which have been set up upon surveys' results conducted by the Citizens' Representative Khural of the city and of aimags. Each committee will have 9-13 persons, meaning that some 260 state servants are to work in overall.

The same day, a head of the General Authority for State Registration L.Amarsanaa lawfully delivered to the GEC an official list of voters. The list has been made in electronic version, the GEC will classify it dividing into constituencies.
