CABINET WANTS TO CHANGE CATEGORIES OF SEVERAL PLACES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting on Wednesday backed in principle a proposal on taking into reserved areas some places. It has been decided to submit it to parliament.
Certain places located in Erdene soum of Tuv aimag, in Khuder and Yeruu soums of Selenge aimag will become Khan Khentii Range reserved area.
The cabinet also supported proposals on transferring the "Ikh Gazryn Chuluu" nature reserve and several places into the "national complex park" category, and on transferring some other places ito a "nature reserve".
The cabinet also proposes to include several places in the "memorial site" category and to cover them with the state special protection.
