STANDING COMMITTEE DISCUSSES DRAFTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting held on Wednesday, the parliamentary Standing committee on environment, food and agriculture held first discussions of a draft new wording of the law on forest and bills on soil protection, prevention of desertification, and on waste.

After an introduction to these drafts by a working group, the Standing committee considered as necessity to make amendments to the wording of some clauses. Then, the majority of the Standing committee members backed the drafts, and decided to discuss them at a plenary session of parliament.
