POLICE PRESS: "OUR ACTION WAS LAWFUL"

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The police's role in arresting N.Enkkhbayar was lawful, said a head of the police press service police colonel T.Saijargal on Friday noon.

The police caught Enkhbayar at the order of the Anti-corruption agency (ACA). "This organization had several times requested N.Enkbayar to come for investigation but he did not appear. Then the ACA lawfully requested us to bring him, and we did it and nothing else," he said adding again that the "whole process is lawful". 
 
The police entered a home Enkbayar was in, sounded the ACA's order, and asked him to follow them. "Unfortunately, Enkbayar refused the request, that is why the police were made use a lawful force", he went on.

There were many policemen, some 300, because "we wanted to prevent any disturbance", he said.
