N.TOGSTSOGT GAINS RIGHT TO COMPETE IN LONDON
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A State Honored Sportsman and silver medalist of the World championship N.Togstsogt has captured a right to compete in the boxing 52 kg event of the London Olympic Games.
He beat Mohammad Waseem from Pakistan by 22:9 at the quarterfinal contest held Monday at the Asian qualification tournament in Astana, Kazakhstan. Next opponent of Togsbayar will be Katsuaki Susa from Japan at the semi-final contest for silver medal.
The same day, an international master of sports Z.Enkhzorig did not advance to the next round in the 60 kg event. Another Mongolian B.Tuvshibat (69 kg) will fight against Kim Jung-Won from S.Korea at the semi-final.
