INNER MONGOLIA ARTIST AWARDED STATE PRIZE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ By a decree of the President, the "Polar Star" Order was given to B.Baasanjav, an actor of the Inner Mongolia's Film Group, on Monday.

He has been awarded by the Mongolian leader for the "significant contribution to the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and to boosting of the cultural ties".

B.Baasanjav has arrived here to take part in a premiere of a feature film "Aravt" co-made by Mongolian and Inner Mongolian artists. He has become popular here thanks to starring in a serial movie "Chingis Khaan".
