BHUTAN WANTS TO STUDY MONGOLIA'S DEMOCRATIC EXPERIENCE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan and a special envoy of Bhutan's current Premier Mr. Kinzang Dorji has said Bhutan wants to study experience of Mongolia in development the democracy.

Mr. Dorji said it on Thursday at a meeting with the President Ts.Elbegdorj.

He introduced to the President his country's political and socio-economic situation and democratic reform and changes.

In turn, the State Head noted that Mongolia and Bhutan share some similar traditions of culture and religion, and appreciated Bhutan's choosing the democratic system and aiming at forming a society that cherishes human rights and freedom.

"We have been developing our democracy for 22 years. We have an willingness to share this experience with others rather than to teach other nations," Ts.Elbegdorj stressed.
